Privacy Statement

The Technology Practice of CNA Executive Search is committed to protecting the confidentiality of any information that Clients or Candidates provide us with, as well as the privacy of anyone using this site.

Data Protection Act 1988

We are registered under the Data Protection Act and comply with the Act in all our dealings with Candidates and personal data.

Transmitted Information - CVs

By sending your CV or other personal data to CNA, by whatever means, you acknowledge that you have read and accept the following conditions:

  • CVs and other personal data supplied by you will be stored on the CNA's R&D Database and will be accessible to authorised CNA staff. CNA will use such information solely to assess your suitability for positions, which we may seek to fill on behalf of its clients.
  • You warrant that the information contained in your CV or other document sent to CNA is true and accurate. While we do not undertake to verify such information we may do so at the request of our clients.
  • CVs and other personal data are accepted by us on the basis that we may use that information in discussion with our clients where appropriate. Although CNA will use reasonable efforts to ensure that no improper use is made or personal information disclosed in this way we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage, which may arise through such disclosure to third parties.
  • Except as provided above CNA will not disclose your personal details to third parties without your specific consent.
  • CNA will use reasonable care to avoid unauthorised use or disclosure of any personal information supplied to us.
  • You may request that personal details that you have provided to us be removed from the CNA database at any time, by writing to the CNA's Data Controller.

Use and collection of personal information

In general you can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself.

Security

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose on-line and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.

General

You have the right to see personal data (as defined under the Data Protection Act) that we keep about you upon receipt of a written request and payment of a fee of £10.
